- 2 Pour 1/4 cup of water into a large pot. Take all the ingredients above and stir into the pot. This is the key ingredient that will give your chicken breast that great juicy flavor
- 3 Put on medium high heat stirring occasionally until it begins to boil.
- 4 Take off flame and let it cool to room temperature, then put into refrigerator until it gets cold (couple hours or so)
- 5 I then take about 1 cup to 1/2 quart of water and ice it pretty good. Then I add the ice water to the brine mix. It helps add a little more stock so that your chicken breasts will be fully submerged
- 6 Fully submerge chicken breasts into the brine. Then keep refrigerated for 1 to 3 hours.
- 7 Take out of fridge, season to taste. I add a little garlic and rosemary or thyme. Don't add any salt though. The brine already has the salt in it.
- 8 Then cook in oven as you would your favorite chicken breast recipe
