Hi! I wasn't sure if you'd find this worthwhile or just plain dumb, but I thought I'd try it anyway. I always prepare my peppers this way so I figured I'd try to write an article. Read on to learn how to cut / peel a pepper without getting any seeds

Difficulty:
Easy

Instructions

    • 1
This works best with the 'narrow' pepper varieties (like the one shown) as the flesh comes off easier and you wont waste any pepper around the seed area. That said, fat bell peppers don't get as good of results.
    • 2
First, either cut off the very end of the non-stem side of the pepper , or just pinch your fingers into the end. Basically, tear the top and keep holding with your fingers.
    • 3
Then pull/peel the flesh off working around pepper. Essentially, you are spiraling the flesh off pepper working down toward the stem.
    • 4
Keep pulling/peeling the flesh around the pepper. Keep spiraling down so to speak. The flesh should work its way off in one solid piece.
    • 5
If you do this properly, you'll remove the flesh and the seeds will stay where they are. Better yet, you won't waste any of the flesh around the seed area. From there, discard the seeds, clean the flesh and cut to your liking. Revel in the fact that you now know How to Cut / Peel a Pepper without Getting any Seeds
