      Log on to the internet if you haven't already and go to www.google.com

      Once you are in Google put your cursor in the Google search block

      To search in a specific web site, always type the subject first, followed by a space, followed by SITE:, followed by the name of the website.

      Simply put, say you wanted to search for boots on Ebay you would type boots site:ebay.com in the Google search bar and then hit the search button. Or.....

      , for example, if you wanted to search for authors with the name 'brown' on the Barnes and Noble site you'd type Brown site:barnesandnoble.com
