For this entire lesson, I'll focus strictly on all of the 'natural' (no flats or sharps) notes along the phrygian scale with no open strings. Specifically E phrygian . Keep in mind this scale can be played in the same pattern anywhere on the bass guitar neck . For E phrygian scale, start by playing the E which is the 7th fret on the A (second) string - 2
